All the content is automatically added to the Online Content Catalog once you purchase. When you open or import an item from the Content Catalog it is also added to the Local Designs Gallery. If you wish to add all the content of a folder in the Content Catalog to the equivalent folder in the Local Designs Gallery right click on the folder in the Local Designs Gallery and select Download All.
In versions MX (v8) and earlier, the content installer contained all the content. In V9 and later the Designs Gallery content is automatically downloaded by the Designs Gallery, the content installer only contains additional content such as spell checker dictionaries, some fills and fonts. In version 10 and 11 only the content installer also includes the PhotoLooks plug-in. After unlocking your copy of Photo & Graphic Designer click on the 'download content installer' option in the Help menu.
No, Photo & Graphic Designer installs as a completely standalone product, so you do not need to uninstall previous versions of Photo & Graphic Designer before installing the current version.
