Reveal Animations

Web Animations - Reveal Animations

Reveal Animations are objects that appear, or animate into your page once they appear within view of the browser. They help highlight points and give a sleek look within your page as users will be drawn to the visual changes. For example, take a look at the Able theme, and the top section as all the elements come into the page.

How to apply

Reveal animations

Same as the other animations right-click the object with the selector tool, click Web Animations and then under the reveal/scroll tab, select reveal animation and an effect from the dropdown list.

You can then use the speed setting to change the rate at which the effect occurs, and add a delay so that it waits before entering into your page.

That's all you need to do. When the you scroll to where the object will appear on your page, the animation sequence will begin.

Trigger Reveal

Normally an object will be revealed as soon as it comes into view. However sometimes you may want to have the object revealed only when some other object (the trigger object) comes into view. To name the trigger object just right click on it and choose names... then apply a name. Now when you click on the 'Trigger object name' dropdown, the name will appear for you to select.

In either option, you can also set the document default settings, so this attritube is applied to all MouseOver or on-click objects. This can still be overwritten by the individual setting.

Some reveals can't be applied to certain objects, please see the table at the bottom of this article.
