How do I make my images open in Xara Picture Editor?

When installing Xtreme, you were given the option to open certain image files with XPE. If you chose not to do this and now want to do so, or another program has 'stolen' these files and you want to give them back to XPE, this is how to do so (these instructions are for Windows XP, for other operating systems please consult your Windows help guide):

1. Right click an image in Windows, then choose Open With > Choose Program.
2. A dialog box will appear listing programs on your computer. Select Browse, and you should be in the Program Files folder. Double click Xara, then Xara Xtreme, then Xara Picture Editor. Finally, select XaraPictureEditor.exe then click Open.
3. You will now be back to the dialog box. Check the 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' option.
4. Click OK.
5. Repeat this process for each type of file which you wish to open with XPE.

Note: XPE can support PNG, GIF, JPG and BMP file formats. You cannot assign any other file types to be opened with XPE.
