I am unable to activate my trial version of Xtreme 4 when entering my code.

Please ensure you are entering your activation code and not your CD serial number when attempting to activate the downloaded trial version. Activation codes begin S- whereas serial numbers begin P-.   You can find a record of your activation code (and serial number ) in your Xara account.  Sign in on our homepage
