Adobe Reader displays black as grey.

Adobe Reader displays CMYK pure black (that is black that will be printed using black ink only) as a shade of grey, whereas the same color is usually virtually indistinguishable from RGB/HSV black in other applications. This does not indicate a problem with the PDF or PDF/X document. View the document in other applications, or print it, to confirm that the areas showing in Adobe Reader as grey, really are black. This only affects Xara Xtreme designs that use CMYK black, when exported as PDF/X or as PDF with the CMYK color model.
