Updating Xara Xtreme 5 / Xara Xtreme Pro 5  to version 5.1.2

To update your installation, use the “Update program” facility in the program Help menu. You need to have unlocked AND registered your program for this option work. If you haven’t, when you invoke the update option you’ll be shown the unlock/register dialog again. Make sure you register using the same email address that you used to purchase the program, because each serial number can only be registered to one email address.

Please note that this option will only work from a CD install version.

Xara Xtreme & Xara Xtreme Pro 5.1.2 fixes

Various fixes including:-

 Photo

- Live effects on photos now rendered at photo resolution

- Photo browsing with previous/next no longer switches to an already open document

- Integrated panorama stitcher now drops new photo below source photos instead of on top of them

- Problem cropping rotated photo fixed

- CMYK jpegs import on Windows 7 64bit

Web

- Pixel aligned graphics now export without edge artefacts

- Brush drag-rendering no longer slow on Vista

- Fractional pixel page sizes no longer cause replicated graphics in exported site

- Back button in Chrome now works with page links

- Anchor name lists and name dialog lists no longer omit some names

- Locked object position now maintained after page height change

-  “.web” file extension no longer added twice on saved files

Rectangles

- Rounded corner rectangles now scaled correctly in Rectangle Tool

- Rounded corners on rectangles now retained on right-click drag

- Resized rounded rectangle no longer jumps during undo

Text

- No internal error when deleting text after deleting an anchored object.

- New text object features no longer cause serious problems if loaded into older versions of Xtreme

- Caret attributes now correct after Shift-click text selection

- No internal program error when moving or deleting tab stop

PDF Export

- Multiple links in text areas now get exported correctly

Object Gallery

- Page fields no longer blanked in Web Properties dialog when renaming page in object gallery

- Page names in non-web documents no longer forced to lower case by object gallery

General

- Soft groups now maintained on paste

- ‘No fill’ no longer displayed as black fill in double page spread

- With “Give new objects most recent attributes” on, lines no longer retain name of last photo object

- Cancelling a masked copy no longer stops Edit menu from working

- Full screen capture with a res of 1680 * 1050 now works on Windows 7

- Closing program with shape on clipboard no longer causes internal error

- Other minor fixes
