Details We’ve released an update for Xara Web Designer 6 today, version 6.0.1.11329. This update contains several bug-fixes compared to the initial release.

Updating Web Designer 6

To update your installation, use the “Update program” facility in the program Help menu. You need to have unlocked AND registered your program for this option work. If you haven’t, when you invoke the update option you’ll be shown the unlock/register dialog again. Make sure you register using the same email address that you used to purchase the program, because each serial number can only be registered to one email address.

Update to 6.0.1 of Web Designer. Summary of changes included:-
 
UI
- File dialogs are now more reliable (a few users had problems caused by the new WD skin)
- Subsystem windows like IE preview windows, printer driver dialogs, etc. are now unaffected by Web Designer skin colors
- Various minor improvements to new flyout menus on toolbars .
- Alt-click no longer interferes with flyout menus
- Apply button now works in Link dialog
- Page & Layer gallery now updates properly on document switch, when solo mode is on 
- Page up/down keys now work in Text Tool.

 Export/Import
- RAW importer updated
- Export JPG/PNG icons corrected
- Incremental publishing to a sub-folder after first publishing to root, now works properly
- Upper case characters now allowed again in FTP sub-folder names
- Some EPS import fixes.
- Page names shown in overwrite prompt are now space separated.

 General
- “SWFobject” name assignment no longer lost on re-opening design
- Photo enhance tool problem when applying to a group, fixed
- Menus now work on navbars with a shadow
- Inserted FLV movies now work with transparency in IE
- “Masters” folder now created only when needed, for storing original photo.
- Popup behaviour problems solved when all layers are made visible
- Problem fixed whereby view quality could become reduced after export/paste operations
- Improved handling of aspect ratio with some MP4 files
- Double quotes now supported in menu labels
- Menus now indicate current page
- Photo popups now work with an apostrophe in title
- No unnecessary redraw of menus when returning up through menu hierarchy
- Various web template fixed in Designs Gallery
- Other minor fixes
