VERSION 6: If you have an *English* language version of Web Designer 6 bought from MAGIX and you wish to upgrade to Web Designer MX Premium 8 we can handle that, but unfortunately it doesn't work automatically in our online store, and you will need to register your copy with Xara first in order to get the upgrade discount. If you already have a Xara account go straight to Step 2, otherwise:
1) go to
www.xara.com, click on Sign In/ Register in the top right hand corner of the page, select 'I don't have login data and would like to register' and fill out that form with your name, postal address and email address. That will open a Xara account for you. Then
2) contact our sales staff via
xara.com/contact, including your Web Designer 6 serial number and we will be able to add your copy of Web Designer 6 to your account, so you can then upgrade to MX Premium v8.
VERSION 7 & 8 : If you own an *English* language version of Web Designer 7 or MX8 purchased from MAGIX then you should be able to upgrade in our
online store. Note if you purchased your V7 or 8 in an offline retail store you will need to register your V7 before upgrading.
If you own Web Designer in a language other than English, then you need to upgrade through MAGIX, we recommend you visit your local
MAGIX website.
