 How to alter UAC?
Solution This article shows how to alter UAC within Windows Vista and Windows 7.

This relates to issues with installation and running of various programs.

One particular example is receiving the error:  'The requested operation requires elevation' when running the FrontPage addin for Menu Maker or Webstyle.

User Account Control (UAC) is a feature in Windows that can help you stay in control of your computer by informing you when a program makes a change that requires administrator-level permission. UAC works by adjusting the permission level of your user account.

For a more detailed description of UAC please see this Microsoft article:-
