The license terms may vary from version to version and so we recommend that you check the license terms in the product, which you will find in the help (search on license if you cannot see the link on the welcome page).

Note these terms apply to work created with purchased versions of our products. Any right to use the graphics expires with the end of the trial if you do not subsequently purchase the program.

All versions of Xara Xtreme / Photo & Graphic Designer / Designer Pro

Xara Xtreme / Photo & Graphic Designer and Designer Pro are used by many commercial designers for their work. The license permits you to incorporate any of the bundled clipart, textures and stand alone photos and use fonts in your work except the images in the Xara Example folders in the clipart gallery. The folders in question will be called Example Xara Drawings or similar. These images are included with the permission of the designers only to demonstrate the sort of work that can be created with Xara software and we request that you respect their copyright. Note though that this does not mean that you can incorporate the templates, fonts or fills into commercial clipart, texture or font collections, neither can you use them in server side webpage builders.

In the case of templates that include photos, there may be some restrictions on the commercial use of the photos, contact Xara for more information.  Also the photos are embedded in the templates and you can not extract them from the templates and use them for other purposes.

Webstyle and Menu Maker

Graphics created using both Webstyle and Menu Maker can be used in any commercial work and there is no limit on the number of sites that you can use them on. Note though that this does not mean that you can incorporate the templates, fonts or fills into commercial clipart, texture or font collections, neither can you use them in server side webpage builders. The trial versions of Webstyle and Menu Maker add a link to the Xara site to the bottom of the menus, this is feature of the trial only.

Xara3D

There are no restrictions on commercial use of graphics created with Xara3D.

ScreenMaker 3D

You can use ScreenMaker to create screensavers for commercial use.

Xara Web Designer

You can use the graphics and/or websites without restriction, but note in the case of templates that include photos, there may be a restriction on the commercial use of those photos, contact Xara for further information. Also the photos are embedded in the templates and you can not extract them from the templates and use them for other purposes.
